coconut hobo
So today I started DLing qarls texture pack. 7 hours later (my internet is that slow) I had it installed. The first thing I noticed was how amazing everything looked. (Except the tree leaves. Anyone know some good tree replacers?) The second thing I noticed was that my 8500GT (yeah, 8500) was running oblivion at 30 FPS in the Imperial City. Normally it can manage around 17. What the hell? A performance and looks increase? I didn't think it was possible, can you explain it? Well, I'm getting a 4850 for Xmas anyway, so I got nothing to worry about
G0g3Ta
kinda strange..i using HD4670,activate HDR,AA4x,FSAA16x,but no Qarl's TP,running oblivion at 35-43FPS.. too slow..
coconut hobo
35 FPS is really fluid! What resolution? Also, I think a 4850 is newer and better than the 46 series right?
KoolA1d
I have QTP3, and I run oblivion at 60-70fps :whistling: As for your FPS increase in the IC, I'm not sure... unless there are less textures for QTP than the original IC textures? Not sure on that one... Anyway, for your trees and leaves there is this mod http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8500 and if you get that one, this is an updated version (but you still need the original) http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11891 Hope that helped!
