Static Face Color

Dear modders,

Recently I installed the UNP texture blender in order to reduce neck seam. Only now my character's face has even more seam, and besides that, it's impossible for me to change my face skin color. When I modify my skin color slider, my body tone changes, but my face tone stays the same, therefore creating a really ugly color contrast.

Besides UNP I use the mod Pretty Face mod found here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/7887

I did not install some parts of the last mod (for example the new eyes and eyelashes and the makeup extras) because I dont like them, but the face textures are in the right folder (I know how to do those things).

Does someone know how to fix this or at least where I can look for something in the game/CK to make my face color change? which mechanics/files make the skin tones usually work with the textures?

Neck seam issues cannot be 'corrected' via the CK. I recommend you uninstall all UNP mesh and textures, then install this. It's the only UNP body texture/mesh replacer I've found that really mitigates the neck seam issues that plagues all UNP bodies.

The problem is not in the UNP texture, this one works just fine. I also do not want to correct neck seam with the CK. I want to find a way to make my face texture change color again when I adjust the skin tone slider in the race menu.

Ok, I made some progress finding out where the problem lies. The problem is Vampirism. First I tried deinstalling the Pretty Face mod, which changed nothing. Also, reloading from another old character showed the same bug (this other char is no vampire, and I played it before I installed the mods which probably messed it all up).

Otherwise, when I (my current char) change my race, my face color is not static anymore. After doing that, I transformed into a vampire lord and the bug was back. Maybe it is a bug in DG, or it is a bug in the mod "vampire lord - transformation overhaul female".

 

Anyway, I can fix this bug now by changing my race and changing back again. Only still, my face color is completely different from my body skin color, which is kinda disturbing. I have the same problem when deinstalling my face mod or using my old character. Only when deinstalling UNP, it works fine, so it's probably something in UNP. That's a pity, because the Pretty Face Pack says it has a UNP Neck Patch (which I installed), but that doesn't change anything. I tried out the Alt Navetsea textures, and they indeed fixed the thing, although I find their body textures a bit too muscular. So if someone has an alternative, that would be nice. And thanks for pointing it out, Ripple!
