I installed bodyslide in data folder (just like in guide) but when im trying to open the .exe program shows up empty, as in this post. I install mods with Vortex, and i have only 2 mods activated currently (CBBE and BodySlide).
When im launching game with CBBE activated character is not changing, i followed all of guides in mod description.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I play skyrim SE, (saw your post in the side panel and was bored so I clicked it) so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt, but since Bodyslide is afaik a universal for all of us...

two things:

A) Bodyslide installation issues

if you happened to install bodyslide while playing the game (ie while it was open in the background) , you'll almost assuredly have to reinstall. The first time I installed I did so when was playing Sky rim, and linkages weren't properly made between the game and bodyslide, perhaps due to locked file or something else...idk, I was a total newb at the time and was doing the paint by numbers thing.

B) misconfiguring Bodyslide

Open Bodyslide

Click the settings button on the lower right.

Click the advanced button.

look at the entry for Output Path

Is it empty? For the player, it should be. Perhaps you were editing an NPC at some point or otherwise chose to output to a different path and forgot that you'd set an output path at some earlier date. An empty path directs the output to your player folder. A non empty one directs it to wherever you've pointed it. (this feature is useful when editing NPCs that have no bodyslide of their own, but it requires a bit more work and experience to pull off. (ie generally not newb friendly for most newbs)

Ok. Now, in case you're really new to this (please bear with me. I don't know your experience level)

1) select your body from the list that opens when you click into the Outfit/Body setting at the top of the application

- find an entry like "CBBE Body" (or if you've installed a more advanced type like CBBE-3BBB, find the "SE 3BBB Body Amazing" or one of its variants and select it.

2) select a body preset from the Preset selection jsut below the Outfit/Body dropdown and choose one associated with the body you have selected. for your info, btw, choosing a "CBBE" preset won't provide all the sliders for a 3BBB body. you'll need to select an appropriately designed 3BBB preset if you want that. Nor btw will a UNP preset.

3) if fallout provides a racemenu mod for ingame player adjustments, like skyrim does, make sure to check the "build morphs" checkbox so that realtime modifications can be achieved in game (I have no experience with fallout so I'm guessing here) . checking the box ensures that Bodyslide generates the necessary .tri files to interact with racemenu.

4) press the build button to generate the new mesh for your player's body

5) now make sure to build your feet and hands. Choose Body/Outfit feet and hands that correspond to the body you've chosen to use.

note: imo, when building bodies, always build the main body first, then your hands and feet. This helps to avoid neck, ankle, and wrist seam issues. And also note that normal once the body is built, there should be no need to adjust anything on the arms and feet, again presuming you've just built the body. (ie leave any associated sliders on feet and hands alone!)

This *should do it.

If you're still having problems, you may need to reinstall CBBE Bodyslide & Outfit Studio or wait for a more authoritative response from a fellow fallout player.

best wishes and in case I'm off base, an upfront apology for butting in
