KeCap Posted February 7, 2013 Share Posted February 7, 2013 I've been looking into different methods of modding and was wondering if it was possible to edit a mod file using Notepad++. I tried loading a few ESP files and get a mostly incomprehensible text. But, a lot of information comes through that is intelligible. Thats how people modded before the ck came out. Heres the setup for scripting in n++ http://www.creationkit.com/Notepad%2B%2B_Setup I cant help you if you really want to hex edit a plugin. I figure, and read somewhere once, that I need to renumber all the forms I want to copy into the new "compiled mod" before I copy as deep override.
