Eye of Magnus - Speculation

I am not entirely sure if this has been speculated before, but what if Eye of Magnus is related to Elder Scrolls?

 

"To see through Magnus' Eye without being blinded, you require his staff."

- You can get blinded as well when reading Elder Scroll.. Is the Staff a way of controlling the orb? Or just decoder? Tool that can Rewrite the orb and thus control the existing world?

 

"Any person gifted with prescient powers is able to interpret the contents of the Elder Scrolls with practice. The information revealed about the future is never absolute. Once an event foretold within the Scrolls is carried out in the world it becomes fixed within " Effects of the Elder Scrolls — Justinius Poluhnius

- Was that what Ancano tried? To control the orb? To control an "elder scroll".

 

 

Also, as a "sidenote", picture of the orb's texture with some elder scroll alphabets slammed in. (From UESP wiki)

Could have thrown in some more, but I just wanted to show that some of these actually match.

 

Keep in mind that there's no "clear" views of the alphabets itself, and no way to decode them.

General shape of alphabets is somewhat similar, and in similar manner, Elder Alphabets have those spots here and there, curvy letters and so.

 

Also, I am aware of that I slammed some of the "easiest" alphabets on the picture.. You see, there's no Hi-res versions of the alphabets available, so it's somewhat hard to compare and match them. But still, many are same, and really similar.

Mmm..

Haven't seen those yet, as I haven't started the DLC yet.

( I want to achieve at least level 30 before I start it, so it's challenging and thus a bit more fun)
