kaizersoze27
I have some 215+ mods installed, most of them minor tweaks, beautification mods, but some of them are quests and gameplay mods that I consider as minor DLCs and they are FREE. With the Dragonborn coming up, I am constantly reading about multiple major bugs and performance issues. Well, I don't want this DLC until things are fixed which would take long time. I thank all modders who have put in great deal of effort in making Skyrim an awesome game and thank Bethesda only for creating the game, not for addressing bugs and issues. Even for Skyrim it took so much of time with patches from Bethesda, USKP and may modders who addressed many errors to get the game stable, then came Dawnguard and it was "Here we go again" moment and now Dragonborn...thanks Bethesda, but no thanks for not giving consideration that there are mods out there that are made using creation kit that YOU released, that may conflict. Bethesda could have done a better job of making this DLC a separate module with its own scripts and not used the Skyrim scripts, troubleshooting would have been easier. ilikecheese1337
When a Bethesda game/DLC isn't bugged, that's when you worry. The modders will patch it up, give them time.
doctorhr2
I played Dragonborn for the first time last night, no problems whatsoever. It ran really smoothly and no conflicts with the 51 mods I have installed.
kaizersoze27
I think much of the troubles are solved, many originating from mods that add animations. I am using dragonborn now, not advanced in stage but then apart from an occational CTDs or freezes, it is running good. Sorry for the rant, but when you are anticipating a DLC that looks and feels awesome and it comes with bugs and glitches, I do feel disappointed and like to vent. kaizersoze27
@hector530: Of course there are lots and lots of mods, however, there should be a way to make an addon to an already exiting game. I see many quest mods that do not conflict with other mods, mostly compatible with 80% mods out there, also, Bethesda's vanilla games are buggy and glitchy by default, regardless of any mods installed. I also have a feel that the new Texture pack that was auto downloaded is the cause of some performance issues, but I am not so sure of that.
