smokincherry
Not sure if its posible. I spent the day reading about scripting, but i have no programing skills so all i got was a headach. Just kidding. My idea is quest added perk that would read the weight of an item when it is equiped and then mod the players carry weight accordingly, then when it is unequped mod the carry weight back down. I like to play with a lower carry weight and use backpacks and bandilors for imersion, the trouble is finding the right value for carry weight. The trouble lies in that their is a big difference in the weight of items of the same type, an iorn great sword weighs 16 while a dragon bone weighs 27. So lets say you have an iorn greatsword 16, scaled armor 6, boots 2, bracers 2, and helmet 2 that adds up to 28 vs say an orcish warhammer 26, armor 35, boots 7, gauntlets 7, and helmet 8, thats 83 big difference... 55 points. If your carry weight could dynamicaly adjust to your equiped items it would allow you to set a static amount for loot, and by not altering the weight of the armor/weapons they would still have the effect on stamina that bethesda intended. This would also be very mod compatible. I would do this myself if i could write a script but i have zero scripting experience. Anyway thanks for reading this, and hopefuly some one can help.
