partyprime91
As topic title states. So a week ago I wiped my whole PC and installed an SSD, I backed up new vegas and mods and all configs from my documents and put them on harddrive E:/ (which before was the C:/ drive)Now I'm getting red exclamation points everywhere and no sounds or anything from weapons. If I use "New Game" it works fine until I crash and then if I load up that save it also shows red exclamation points and everything.I tried putting the game on my SSD to see if it changes anything but its the same problem. It looks like this:http://imgur.com/a/BPzEv Modlist shouldn't be neccessary as this is the same modlist that worked before I changed harddrive.I will post modorder if it's really neccessary. Specs: i5 2500k8gb ramASUS p8-z68 V-proEVGA GTX 6701680x1050 resolution on monitor.128gb SSD1TB internal harddrive (This is where the game was at first, now I've put it on SSD but no difference) I'm using steam and Nexus mod manager and latest FNV version with all DLCs. Xaranth
Did you actually reinstall the game when you swapped the disks, or did you just copy the steam folder over? It behaves kind of like your game crossed the magic threshold, but the symptoms don't quite match up. My suspicion is that your save's data paths are mistargetted somehow, which suggests to me that maybe a registry entry isn't pointing to the right place. What I would do at this point is back up your saves and data folder, then completely uninstall and reinstall Steam.

luthienanarion
That does seem very similar to the engine corruption that occurs when too many plugins are loaded. How many are you running?

luthienanarion
Reduce that number to less than 140 and you should be able to avoid this problem.
omegagamer99
Hello nexus community. I also have the same problem, but this is on a brand new game that I just installed from steam. How can I fix this?
