Strifewind
Hey all attached is my list of mods they are not in that specific order. For some reason my NMM will not export the actual load order. I am not sure what order I should put my mods or if a specific mod could be causing the issue. The issue is as follows. I can load the game but it acts up and laggs/low frame rate. It picks back up and usually happens when I am walking towards a wall or certain textures. Another symptom is that the game will crash at non specific points. Ive seen it crash when trying to load a new area, talking to a vendor/npc, jumping or even just walking around. This just recently happened. I was playing the game for a few hours the previous day after loading the mods and the game worked fine. I am new to mods and am not sure of loading orders. I would appreciate help. worldofscotty
Its not your load order I'll bet. My game was epic stable until this update brought me the same nonsence. Been looking through the papyrus log and it is rife with errors from mods as well as from DLC2 (Dragonborn) which Bethesda probably wont sort out for ages so we will have to see what Unofficial Dragonborn Patch can do with it. The main options I can see is either to remove most of your mods until they have been fixed (not my favourite option as the game is not much fun anymore without mods) or to simply take a break for a week or so until modders get up to speed. Strifewind
Ok thanks. I kind of figured, but being new to modding this game I was not 100% sure what the problem could be.
fiewiel
Activate the papyrus log. If you lag before you crash there is a good chance that you find evidence in the log that some mod is going berserk before game dies.I also would put the unofficial patches higher in the load order (personally I would try to put them directly behind the .esm files they patch). If RealisticNeedsandDiseases.es and RND_Dragonborn-Patch.esp/RND_PureWaters-Patch.esp/RND_USKP-Patch.esp are from the same mod I would change the load order. You have to load the main file first to get it patched. At least thats what I would do.Frostfall and wet and cold are pretty similar. Check both modpages if there are compatilbility patches available.torches for realistic lighting.es is a pretty old mod. Not sure if its dawnguard/cot compatibel
BootsyFunk
I am a TOTAL newb mod guy so I offer little but this. Your load order for mods differs a lot from mine with somewhat similar mods. (although U state that's not your load order?) So I'll say the obvious... Your computer can handle ALL yer mods?...check Readme's read for incompatibility, or needed patches?...check. Use BOSS for load order?...check. It worked ok...then it didn't...what changed if anything? Dragonborn dlc? New mod ? etc....check That's all I can offer, being a newb. Still sometimes the simple things in life are valid.
