Help with CTD

Hi guys. I recently re-installed Skyrim without any of the DLC except the high res textures released by Beth. I had some mods I downloaded through the workshop which I'd subscribed to which I assumed updated through the launcher.

I resumed the main quest line and I'm now getting a CTD at the same point every time (part described in the spoiler tag).

 

 

 

Just after you capture Odahviing in whiterun and fly on its back (where it drops you off and you fight a big gold dragon, I quicksaved so every time I load it and engage a dragur it crashes every time without fail.

 

 

 

I've run BOSS to try and fix the load order and cleaned the dirty mods but this didn't help. There are two mods (sounds of skyrim - wilds and the dungeons one that report will corrupt saves).

 

I've tried disabling all mods through nexus mod manager but still get the same issue. I'm thinking the sounds of skyrim mod has corrupted the save completely.

 

Any suggestions apart from a full re-install?

did you complety uninstall sounds of skyrim (as in delete all relevant files in the skyrim data folder) ?

 

if you didn't, do it. after that try loading a save file from before you called odahviing. a full save or an autosave and see if that works.

I ended up deleting all traces of all the mods in the location you gave and going back to an auto save I had before I caught the dragon. After that I was able to get past the place where it was crashing. I'll prob re-install them 2 at a time except sounds of skyrim as I reckon that had corrupted the save as reported by BOSS.
