Jonay
I have a huge problem with creation kit, for some reason none of my mods will work. Just the smallest thing like changing faendals face CTRL-F4 for facegendata, save the .esp in the data folder. Nothing. No other of the things I do works either, the files are there but it just wont work. Can this have anything to do with like SKSE or something?Do I need to change some directory or whatevs? getting desperate here nothing I do will work.

Is your creation kit not working or your mods? Are you trying to create new mods or editing existing mods? If its just the CTRL+F4 issue, then make sure you don't filter them using the *ALL filter. You will have to actually locate the npc you are trying to generate the facegendata in the tree and then press CTRL+F4. Also, this process will not generate a new esp, rather it will create a new folder somewhere in the data directory called "<modname>.esp". I don't remember the exact path. Deleted1308005User
Also, does "None" mean actually "none", and not just that this single mod you explained doesn't work? Remember to check that your mod is activated.

My creation kit is working just fine, it's just the .esp I create in it just doesn't do anything to the game. Lets say I go to creation kit and put a huge tree in the middle of Riverwood, I save the esp file and put it in my skyrim data directory folder, and nothing happenes. I changed Faendal because he got the grayface bug, so i was going to transfer facegen data and fixed him up a bit, put in the esp, nothing. Just nothing happenes even though the mod i just made is laying there inside the data folder and everything seams to be correct : / and when I load the mod in the creation kit again, he is just the way I made him. Just not in game. It's really wired. Edited February 9, 2013 by Jonay
Deleted1308005User
Did you check that the mod is activated? If it is activated and still issues happen, your CK and Skyrim versions don't match.Which means you need to update Skyrim.
septeracore
Ok...you might want to tone down the title then. Apart from what Shadowjin said, do you have any other mod that modifies the same space? As for the chargendata - read what I mentioned before. Lastly, verify game cache to make sure its up to date - I havent heard of any game breaking updates from Skyrim, so should be fine. Also, not to be rude, but just confirming - you are not using a pirated version of Skyrim are you?

And they are all activated, yes.No other facegen data is interfearing with it. And it's not just the facegen or people its everything, whatever I make it just has no effect what so ever. If i just plant a bookon a table in the bannerd mare, nothing, change someone, nothing, delete something, nothing. No it's not a pirated, it's a real copy. I'll try to reinstall my CK and make sure toupdate it, and do the load .. files thing in steam too. Thanks for the help, I really hope it works.
