Hi has anyone heard of the pulling of the plug on basic cable, it starts 2009. This will effect Canada and the USA.

If anyone knows witch channels are switching to digital, please list them here.

I think you are misunderstanding. ALL channels are switching to digital. That is the point. There will be no more analogue.

 

Whichever channels you get now you will continue to get if you already have digital capabilities. If not, you'll get nothing until you upgrade or purchase a converter.

I know that, it doesn't effect us people that have a digital box, it just effects the people who (don't have one).

Anyway, I'm sure the message is getting out there, I've seen tons of publicity for it and people will definitely find out when their telly only shows them snow. heh
