Custom Race Cannot Change Hair

The custom race cannot change any hair vanilla nor custom hair.

 

I have tried using different custom races, Ashen, Loving girl, Tempress, and just the race mod and nothing else, but all of the custom race cannot change their hairs except the preset hair.

 

Can any one tell me what is the problem?

So i opened the creation kti to find out what is the problem that is causing the hair mod is not working with custom races.

And tha result is that somehow custom hair only assign to vanilla races and all custom race only got the preset ,aka 1 hair style

The headpartallraceminusbeast does not work for custom race

you need to add in the custom race into the headpartallraceminusbeast form list , which is usually assign to, inorder for the custom hair to be usable by the custom race

Emmm hi, I find it amazing you actually foun how to solve this on your own just by looking at CT congratz! I have the same issue as you, my problem is I am confused about this part ""you need to add in the custom race into the headpartallraceminusbeast form list , which is usually assign to, inorder for the custom hair to be usable by the custom race "". Now I understand what needs to be done, but my question is where do you do it? Do I open the Lunari race and go to the face gen data? If I go under Character to fin the "head part" do I need to manually add it? If you could help about this I would really appreciate it, and if not well have a nice day.

Well ppl I found it on my own and I will translate what this dude meant by "you need to add in the custom race into the headpartallraceminusbeast form list".

 

1. Open creation kit

 

2 .Click on the file icon top left (data) and select the race you have a problem with in the menu that will pop out. Since it will proly be a plugin you must activate it, you will get a warning if you do not anyway.

 

3. After it loads, Click on edit (top left again) and in the menu that will pop up, click "find text" and search for this HeadPartsAllRacesMinusBeast

 

4. After it finds what you need, note that it will be under the "Objects,etc" tab. Click that tab, and you will see the form list HeadPartsAllRacesMinusBeast. Double click on it.

 

5. It will open a menu, that will list all the affected races by that form. You need to drag and drop the needed race into the menu of HeadPartsAllRacesMinusBeast form list.

 

Don't forget to save in creation kit, and that should be it :) !
