Anyway, The card fan works, but my computer doesnt read it. I uninstalled it to try and reinstall it but i get a message, Vga not reconized as Nvidia, Please got to Nvidia.com to get support, but there is no support for my issue as i could not find any. I did leave it on for a few days on accident during september, and when i came back the thing didnt work. No games were running. it was on the desktop for about three days. Could it be because i updated the driver, that the old software wouldn't recognize it?

( buy which i mean after i unistalled it. )

Or do i hope santa brings me a new one for christmas.?

It didnt over heat or smell burnt and the fan kicks in. The port dont look burnt nor does anything on the card. A buddy of mine suggested it over heated and popped out, i tried taking it out and everything but my computer don't read it. While i await your answer i will be at nvidia trying to find the support i need for strong graphical ability withdrawls...

Or i will be playing weak graphic games, ( yet fun ) like age of empires 2, Diablo 2, ect, ect, ect.

( dont mind the typo's as i have my child with me whilst i type this. )

Check to be sure your card is supported by the new drivers. Sometimes a particular series is not.

If you can, try to roll back your drivers to the older version. There may be a bug in the new ones. Nvida is usually good about patching bugs pretty quickly, but I imagine many of their programmers are out for the holidays this week.

I usually wait a week before installing a new driver to allow time for the bugs to show up.

I have had a 2 year old 'help' type a post before. The results were interesting.

Everything is compatible. I havent updated anything on my computer since the card quit working or about a month before it quit working as i wasn't on the internet that much.

What i think the issuse is is the port itself became uninstalled some how, as when i plug in a gaming controller or anything into the usb ports its says port unrecongnized. I think all my ports are became uninstalled even the pci express port. What i will do since i can afford it is bring it to my buddy and have him fix it, or worst case senario, buy a new card.

And it says port unrecongnized, not driver.

My girl is nine months old on christmas day. She already loves smashing the keyboard like papa does. It took me 20 minutes to type that post and after reading it, i was amazed i got all the typoes ( most of them anyway ).

If you have any other ideas please feel free to post em my good man.

Oh one other thing i did do a system restore. but that shouldn't matter either as i have backed up everything even the driver update for the card. And i did find tech support for my card, i had to go to the manufacturer of the card, not nvidia, as the only make the chipset, not the main thing. I hope u get what i mean cause its confusing as all heck.

T%hanks Bben 46, Your a huge asset to the community.
