VikingII
In GECK I can add the gauss reticle to a normal scoped weapon, but it acts as a normal scope. I want to add the digital zooming effect too. I have copied the followings files:-dlcanchgaussscope01.nif-dlcanchgaussscope01.dds Then I edited the nif with nifscope to add the dds texture, then I add the nif model to my weapon in the scope field tab. In game I see the gauss reticle but without the digital zooming effect. There is something that I am doing wrong and I don’t know how to continue :psyduck:
prensa
VikingII - Hello! "I want to add the digital zooming effect too." The Gauss rifle from Anchorage DLC? That does not have a digital zoom in the un modded game, you must be using a mod that adds that effect in. I know of: Zoom Reworked http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/11312 Taking a quick peak at that, it seems to work with all scopes via it's scripts. It seems to apply the digital effects based on the weapon's assigned Weapon Skill, Energy Weapons get the Digital Zoom while others get the normal. Assuming you have that mod or some derivative, it would seem you have to set the weapon's skill to Energy Weapon. Hope this helps! Prensa
VikingII
Yes, I have the Fallout Wanderer's Edition that makes that with the zooms. I changed the gun from small guns to energy weapons and nothing happens. But you give me the clue to continue by studing those scripts. Thanks Prensa! :)
