Largo
Look, we all love Morrowind, and most if not all of the features... And let's just say that I get pretty annoyed when people start to bad talk the Argonians and Khajits! So what if they have tails? You know what I would give if I had a tail? ...I dunno, something somewhat big... That's beside the point though... All I hear is wet kitty this, Lizard Guts that... Well wake up! Those beast races are accually really good if used properly! I'm sure my Argonian Spearwarrior would own any pesky redguard or Nord... Same with my Khajit Thief... So what if they can't use boots??? Grr..... And so I say to you now, cease the beast bad talk of I'll do um, something... you now...unpleaseant. I demande equal rights to all ES races... Except for those damn High Elves... those suck. Largo
Boots and helms be damned man! I mean, boots are all well and good, but most people complain about not being able to use the boots of blinding speed, which is bogus, and helms? Well, I guess they are also good, but now you can see your characters pretty face more...
Untouchable1
he's right. its cool to see your characters awesome face when walking through a town or something. my dunmer never wears his glass helm (which i have seen screens of a khajit wearing) and i sometimes forget to put it on before battle! the beast races can wear open helms like imp. chain coifs, imp. dragonscale helms, and like i said i have seen one with a glass helm on. plus my cousins Argonian looks so cute with the little yellow fur hat and Tartheifs robe on! Maquissar
I am a Khajit. Hath not a Khajit eyes? hath not a Khajit hands, organs, dimensions, senses, affections, passions? Fed withthe same food, hurt with the same weapons, subject to the same diseases, healed by the same means, warmed and cooled by the same winter and summer, as an Imperial is? If you angel us, do we not bleed?if you tickle us, do we not laugh? if you poison us, do we not die? and if you wrong us, shall we not revenge? Eiade
Argonians have pluses to unarmored, and that will compensate for the loss of boots. And you can wear open-faced helms. Besides, Argonians make better healers, monks, and mages anyway, and people who specialize in magic get pluses to unarmored. Forget armor. Plus, they're faster than anyone else with their tall stature and +15 to athletics. Not having armor will decrease their encumbrance and make them excellent runners. I love Argonians As for Khajiit, they have more pluses in stealth skills than any other race, which means they're most likely gonna be a theif, which implies that in their line of work, there won't be as much fighting. Wanna be a Khajiit warrior or mage? Then be ready for a little harder game. Khajiit don't suck, they're just meant for theivery. Beast races rock. Just use them correctly. the_ragnarok702
I know my character would be worse if he was a beast. BTW Elade skill bonuses dont matter because all skills can eventually be maxed out.
Marxist ßastard
...And also, that Unarmored boost means nothing to armor rating. Even with a 100-rated Unarmored skill, the maximum armor rating you can get without wearing some real equipment is 65. Thus, the benfit of not wearing boots -- with a 100-rated Unarmored skill, mind you -- goes away once you get a pair of boots that have an armor rating greater than 65. ...And what is the value of that starting bonus to Unarmred that youget as an Argonian? Five? Ten? Fifteen?
