Fallout 3 RogueLike!

For those who are interested I have started a Fallout 3 RogueLike on Youtube.

I will be role playing all the characters and using FWE's alternate starts. I have only ever played through FO3 once which was using the default starts so this is all new to me!

Like all RogueLikes this obviously involves perma death. I'm using FWE & MMM as well as a bunch of other mods and playing on very hard difficulty. I'm expecting to go through a lot of characters! lol

Hope you stop by, watch and join in the fun!

This looks really interesting! Cool idea Fallout is perfect for a roguelike. You should look at adding a mod called "Alt Start FWE Redux." It adds some more variety to the FWE starts and reduces a lot of the items you get for some of the characters. I think the one you chose was a good choice as it should be pretty challenging. But some of the other starts with FWE can be a bit tamer and potentially not as interesting. Anyway looking forward to seeing how long you survive ;p

Thanks for watching I hope you enjoyed it :)

And thank you for the mod suggestion! I might take a look at that mod once I have played through a few more characters.

I find this morbidly amusing: Permadeath is the main and likely only reason I will never consider playing in a troupe again. And yet, you're playing a game where it's not intended and doing it anyway. It's my opinion that permadeath removes all insight, all passion, all purpose from roleplaying, and it's a slap in the face to the character. I'm there to craft a life, not play out a death.
