Need some ideas for a Mongrel Mod.

Hi, I haven't really been in this part of the forums for awhile but I managed to make a very legion mongrel looking dog, and I was thinking if anyone had any ideas to add it/them to the game. The mongrels were originally from Denver, so I need an idea of how they got to DC. For giggles, I gave them the bloody mess perk which is why that one screen shot is such a mess.

 

I was also thinking of making one as a companion but I haven't a single good idea of how to do so without it being bought from a mute npc.

Or, borrow the idea from the Devil Dog that was going to appear in the Van Beauren project. I want to get as many ideas as possible before I even begin working on it since I don't want this to be a "have some free stuff without any challenge" mod or a mod that was just rushed so I have to end up with a million different mods/versions to get everything right.

I really like how they came out, and I really want to use them for something before I just forget about them like so many other things.

sounds like its a story base. havent heard about it but u could use the basic seaching for food stlye. They just followed the food chain and ended up there.

That could work, but I want it to have a bit more "depth" I guess. I don't know how much info their is on Denver other than crazy dog people, and that the dogs their are vicious. Since the legion doesn't attack Denver until a few years from now, and that I haven't come across anything about things leaving Denver unless they were forced. Though it is full of dogs and that would make food - sans cannibalism - hard to come by.

I think the best way to do that would be from a metro tunnel perhaps in their own personal dungeon?

 

 

Then I was thinking about making a companion that you could get - I could either go with, some random guy rode the Denver and lived and can sell players one, or give one some kind of quest with it, where it would die at the end of it (as to not break the Wanderer and Dogmeat thing).

Sorry for the double-post but I had an idea! What if...the player is responsible for the outbreak?

Maybe then just making them another enemy they could be some kind of threat...like you know in Australia where they put in some animal to control another animal and it gets worse?

 

As a companion quest, I'm thinking maybe instead of just another dog - it could be intelligent like K-9. Making an animal testing dungeon that would make Borus pre-guilt trip (if you make him feel bad and he gives you eggs instead of blood anyways by being a jerk to him that is) proud! and me kinda sad.

I should have done this sooner, but I noticed that the dogs look little like mongrels after all. :P

I'll probably just end up using them as a stronger dog variant - the Albino Scorpion of dogs maybe?

Instead I'm making a mod about the lab idea and a Night-kin named Murphy who is a jerk.
