Myrthian
I like games with a rich lore and plenty of background information, but currently the codex is just a big wall of text grouped into different categories and makes it almost impossible to quickly search for specific information. Expected:- A text field somewhere in the codex to search- A successful search will ideally filter very codex entry out which doesn't have a match so that only entries remain which contain the search string Edited September 17, 2020 by Myrthian
theskymoves
I suspect that such an addition to the DAO UI would be extremely difficult if not impossible to devise. (See: there is only one 'major' UI mod for the game, after more than 10 years.) You might be interested in the searchable codex document (in PDF form) that I created. There's a 'standard' version, best for using on a PC, and an attempt at a 'portable' version, for use on an eReader. All three installments in the series are covered. The DAO and DA2 documents are final and complete. (Or as complete as was humanly possible.) The DAI document does not cover the final DLC for that game, and is otherwise flawed, for reasons enumerated in annoying detail here.
