I echo this request. Most of the Morrowind mod installation "how-to" guides I have found date from 2006/2007. I'm sure the modding community has progressed in the past 6 years. I want to make sure I don't reinvent the wheel in the process of my installation. :)

Basically if you are lazy. Most mods will have an ESP File and/or folders with folders and/or files in them called things like Textures, Sound, Meshes, Script, etc.

When you game launches it looks in your Data Folder in the Root installation Folder called [insert Game Name] which is located just purely in your C:\Program Files, or Program Files (x86) folder. Specifically, it's looking for ESP Files which act sort of like Archives containing changes made in the Creation Kit for the game to load over the vanilla game stuff. So

Step 1. Add ESP Files into the Data folder inside your main game folder.

Step 2. Add any folders like Meshes, Textures, Sounds, Scripts, etc into your main game folder. ESP files that have loose files as well will point to these to be loaded up and to be layered over the related content or used in conjection with the other stuff.

Step 3. Do any other extra things that the ReadMes of any give mod may specify such as making changes in your INI configuration files in MyDocuments or hte Game Folder. There could very well be special things that need to be done before playing, so ALWAYS read a read me to be informed of incompatibilities and particular steps and details.

Step 4. Activate the mods either by the Launcher List, or by the Nexus Mod Manager.

Step 5. NEVER make a list like this and use "??? PROFIT" That has offically been overdone. :3
