LordAltear
Hello, I'm having trouble with my Skyrim, as when I try to fast travel or walk a certain distance on one of my saves I crash and when I try to play on another save of mine everything is largely fine with it except when I go to exit, for example a building or Riften the game goes to black and I have to end the program with task manager. I'm not really sure what to do, as I've tried everything from lowering texture quality, turning off save when fast travel, verifying game cache, verifying file integrity, and removing mods I'm not really using. If anyone could give me any advice, this would be much appreciated.
TreyvenCorsey
I'm having the same problem and I have no idea what is wrong.
anjenthedog
All I can suggest is stepping back as many saves as necessary to find one that doesn't crash. Once they start acting like that, I've never found a way to recover those saves. (ok, not "never", but effectively never...)

Once they start acting like that, I've never found a way to recover those saves. (ok, not "never", but effectively never...) Seconded. On a side note: Don't uninstall mods during a playthrough. Adding new mods is okay in most cases. But DONT. UNINSTALL. ANYTHING. Crashes like OP mentioned are often caused by leftovers from now uninstalled mods. Scripts and other data from mods get baked into your save. At a certain point, the game is looking for something that doesn't exist any longer (because the mod was uninstalled). That's when the trouble starts...
