Defile
I was wondering if the combat meshes could be changed in a way that when you hold your 1h it will have the 1h animation but your attacks will have the 2h animations, so grabbing the sword with 2 hands for attacks. I know there is a mod that lets you wield 2h as 1h animation for normals stance and so it has normal 2h attack animations but I don't want to wear the sword on my back :P cheers

Triforce1
Yeah, I'm always up for this sort of thing. Opens up a new category for weaponry, like the (I want to say, so don't quote me) "hand and a half" sword, a.k.a. the "male without a father sword". If you've ever seen them they are cool. Like a longer longsword, with leather past the crossbar on the hilt for just what you are describing.
CloudCleaver23
Hand and a half swords just have a slightly longer blade, and an extra half-handspan added to the length of the handle to compensate. The leather covering the base of the blade was usually only seen on larger swords, like claymores. The one William Wallace used in Braveheart was an example. The leather was used more to cushion the hand when one pulled the weapon out of a corpse, not to actually swing the thing with. The farther up you grab a swinging weapon, the less power it has at the tip. Higher swing radius = more power.
