perturbed
I've got several Bodyslide files where the person making the BS conversion only did the high weight - but I want both high and low. Let's say I make two presets. The first one is for the normal body I use with the high and low. Then I make the second preset where the _1 weight corresponds to the _0 weight of the first preset. Then I run the single weight files through bodyslide twice - once on the first preset, label the resulting meshes with the _1 tag and then move them somewhere safe. Then I run the single weight files again using the second preset and label those meshes with the _0 tag. Now I have both _1 and _0 meshes. If I use these in the game, will this work? Hanaisse
I suppose it could but sounds convoluted. Or, you could just take the one mesh and create your own proper bodyslide project ?
perturbed
For anyone who is interested, I just had a chance to try it out and this technique does work. It's a simple matter of creating two bodyslide presets, each with a high-low weight, one smaller than the other at the 100 weight. Run it through BS once at the fuller preset and put a _1 suffix on the end of the meshes. Run it through again at the smaller preset and put a _0 on the end of the meshes. NexusComa2
That sounds pretty complicated ... All you need to do is load up the bigger one drop the values down until you're satisfied and save it as the little one. That gives you the two you re looking for. 0 being the smaller and 1 being the larger. There is no need to max or min out any value. This is simply a large and small version of a custom body.
