VikingII
Using the Sniper rifle, when you aim trough the scope and shoot, your screen plays a recoil effect (it moves up and down). But this effect is loosed when you add a scope to a normal weapon via GECK, even in vanilla, when you use the original Scoped .44, your screen remains static (with the normal wobbling movement in all scoped weapons).I want the same recoil than the sniper in my custom .44 and my custom 5.56 rifle with scope. How can I make it happens?
prensa
VikingII - Hello! The recoil in weapons seems to come from the animations rather than a setting. The "Attack Anim" in the Art and Sound Tab of the weapon seems to be the key.Things with a big recoil like the sniper rifle & shotgun use:AttackleftBear in mind that Attackleft can't be used with everything though, things like lever action weapons (Lincoln Rifle) need their special anims. So it depends on what your weapon is, I've used Attackleft on a handgun & it works really well to give it a massive recoil feel.Hope this helps!Prensa
VikingII
You are right about the Attackleft sniper’s animation, I have tested in most weapons and it did not work properly with other kind of weapons, like a scoped automatic rifle. But the .44 Magnum has the same animation by default in GECK and it does not perform that recoil effect.I am not talking about the animation in 3º person, but the recoil effect when you shut while aiming with a scope, with the Magnum you see the crosshair static when shooting, but with the Sniper you see how the crosshair “jumps” after every shot. Thanks for help; anyway I think it is an unsolvable problem using only the GECK. panzersharkcat
Well, scoped hunting rifles will show the scope moving but that's it, as far as I know.
