Dragonborn DLC main quest bugs

-In the quest gardener of men-

 

I gave the black book to Storn Crag-Strider to complete the quest (he walk to the center of the village talk with his daugther and never read the book) i tried to restart the game and unchek all animations mods i had but with no succes. I have so many mods and im not gonna unchek them all one by one to find out wich mod create this conflict ..... please i need your help to fix this im kinda stuck right now and can go forward with the main quest

 

Ps. also had issue with the elavation pad in Tel Mithryn (Neloth house) everytime i activate the pad my character appear in 3 person mode and nothing happen. I had to download a small mod that add trap near the pad to get up

Deleting the two files below typically fixes most of the animation problems in Dragonborn.

 

meshes\actors\character\character female\defaultfemale.hkx
meshes\actors\character\characters\defaultmale.hkx

 

As for the your quest problem your probably going to have to use the console to advance the quest.

Thanks for your help i fixed my quest problem with the console but i hope this will be fixed soon ... right now i have another problem with miraak boss fight after he absorbed 3 dragon soul and get below 25% health he suddenly become invisible in the center of the platform and cant be killed so i may have to use console again but this is frustrating
