Reassigning buttons causes menu labels to be incorrect

Button labels displayed in menus are incorrect when reassigning the functions of keys and/or controller buttons. Essentially, the labels are not updating to display the correct key assignment. For example, in menus the label says that 'A' will accept the choice, and 'B' will cancel it, but in reality it is 'X' and 'Y', respectively, due to the updated key bindings. This is the case regardless of whether I am playing with the keyboard and mouse, or a 360 controller. Clearly this makes attempting to navigate menus very confusing. Is this a known issue, and if so, is there a fix?

I thought I'd also show the mods I am using in case any of them are known to cause the issue described above, however I believe the issue presented itself even before I began using any mods.

After some more research (and a bit of luck!), I found this fix below on the site:

On-screen Interface Key Fix

 

This fixes the issue 100%! I am not actually using SkyUI at the moment, so there could potentially be issues still with that, but at least for the vanilla menu system, this makes it function as one would expect it should. I hope this helps anyone else who is having this frustrating issue. Don't forget to endorse the mod!

As previously stated; It has always been like that. Either it's programmed to be static, or there's a bug in the dynamicity of the reassigning...
