Waffenbaum Posted February 12, 2013 Share Posted February 12, 2013 So the Carved Nordic armor. There's three things about it which struck me a bit "off". First off, it's so amazingly blank and shiny. Which is of course nice and all, but it means it hardly matches any other armor. It'd be really nice if it was possible to dull the armor a little, maybe make it more of a darker/more worn steel type of thing? That in itself I bet is something someone might be able to do. Secondly, the quilted upper arm and legging cover seems very out of place to me and may have been taken from the orc armor? (it didn't feel like it fit there, either). I'd love to see it replaced with some similarly steely chainmail. Thirdly a mesh issue. Leaving the thighs more or less unprotected just looks so odd compared to the bulky, protective nature of the armor. Maybe the fur skirt could be extended to cover the front, too? Or maybe some fitting plating (taken from the gloves or boots perhaps) could be added to the thighs? I think these things, if anyone would be willing or able to take them on, could make the armor much more pleasing than it currently is to those who feel like I do.Here's hoping someone catches interest :happy: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
