My understanding is that 2005 isn't compatible with Windows 10, and that it's better to use a more recent version of MS SQL that IS compatible with the toolset database. See post #13 in this discussion for more info on version compatibility. This discussion has the best instructions I've found for installing everything.The only difference that could be the issue is that I use Windows 10 pro on my PC. The other PC is running Windows 10 home just as my net- and Notebook. But I will try it bc a 32" screen on my PC is better than a 17" on my notebook. Still the same issue. Tried SQL 2005-2019. I searched for a Vista ISO but I wasn't lucky -.-I will try a VM tomorrow with Windows 7, that might work. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
