Fix Custom Hairstyles!

I would attempt this my self but I've very little experience at editing meshes and cannot spare the freetime to commit to practice.

Every hair mod that I've come accross thus far has had the same problem, a problem that the default hairstyles do not share. When there're custom hairstyles added by mods, the hair disappears entirely when equipping a helmet or hood. It's pretty annoying honestly. While there are workarounds for this problem (most of which involve not wearing/seeing a helmet), I was kinda wondering why no one(to my knowledge) has attempted to address the problem directly?

I can't give any details since I haven't modded anything for mounths, but I remember finding addional hair files that the default hairstyles use to make them compatible with helmets. Does anyone know if it's possible to make custom hairstyles compatible with helmets? This is the primary reason why I do not like to use hair mods.

Depending on how complex the hair mesh is, It can be a hassle setting up what parts of the hair will disappear when wearing a helmet.

But to answer your question, It is possible, though a modder would have to edit or at times create a new mesh for the hair with a 3d software like Max or Blender, I'm afraid the only easy solution would be either lose the helmet or lose the hair.
