Power armor fusion core optimization

So, I don't like it when rando NPCs in my settlements decide they want to take a ride in my power armor on the off chance I'm not in it and the settlement gets attacked....

 

To that end I take out the fusion cores when I leave my power armor... But I am also an idiot and frequently forget to transfer the partially used fusion core back into the armor.

 

To that end, I was hoping someone that is smarter than me and, ostensibly knows how to create a mod, could make something that will prioritize the use if partial fusion cores before it loads up a fresh one.

 

I tried to see if there was something like that already, but alas, did not find anything.

I did some checking, but couldn't find anything either. I did find some options, one of which recharges your fusion cores. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/33334 , the other while not lore friendly solves the problem by giving you a fusion core that never runs out. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15313 They aren't the solution you asked for, but may help out until someone makes the mod you want.

And here's another suggestion you didn't ask for (grin). Since I wasn't aware that NPCs wouldn't take my PA if I removed the Power Cell, I always built a small Power Armour Storage Shed, and used a Door that NPCs couldn't open. I tried to find it, just now... to provide you a link, but couldn't find it. However...
