masani23
I use mods and often stop playing for periods of time because mods are making my game not work. I try to limit my use of mods to "essentials" but then they all end up "essential" and I'm at square one. What can I do? I'm not a beginner at all so I don't need "basic issue" support. I use BOSS but aside from it mending my load order I have no idea how to use that or TES5Edit or whatever. All I want from my mods are expanded gameplay functions (such as better Lycanthropes and Vamps, "Deadly Dragons", Climates of Tamriel etc) and graphics mods such as larger textures and lighting mods (which also make no sense to me, all these FXAA post whatevers and EN Who-nows) and obviously fixes/patches. My point is that I am often overwhelmed by all of the file replacing and updates and installs. I guess how do I limit my usage of mods? I just feel like there is always some technical problem I have to deal with. I am always like, "Oh, well this mods fixes this/does such and such. Well OF COURSE I need to fix/have that!" and at the end of the day I have a broken game.
