roman11777
I've tried next to everything. I've reinstalled, I've verified the integrity of my game cache, I've deactivated all of my mods (All of these I've done multiple times), but nothing I try seems to work. This just came out of nowhere. It was working fine one day and the next day when I started up the game this happened, and it's been like this ever since. The loading screen doesn't even play before it crashes, it's just a black abyss followed by 'Fallout New Vegas has stopped responding'. What do I do? roman11777
Okay, all of the sudden when I start it the loading screen flashes for one second, THEN it goes to a black screen showing 'FalloutNV has stopped working' I guess it's a start. Xaranth
It almost sounds like a broken menu; when you reinstalled did you reinstall CLEANLY? If you didn't go and manually delete your Fallout New Vegas folder after removing local content via steam, all your old stuff will still be there.
