Riddleofsteel
I have a Radeon HD4870 512mb which, granted, isn't the best but it should be able to run FO3 on max even with the hi-res texture pack I got from filefront. Right? For some reason when daylight comes in game, looking around with the mouse is much slower and the cursor seems to "stick" which as you can imagine plays havoc with my aiming. I made sure I have nothing at all else open but it still does this. It didn't until I edited an esp file in GECK. Could that cause some kind of slow down? Thanks for any ideas. mattlax8
Fallout 3 depends heavily on the processor, therefore even the best cards will stutter if there isn't a good processor. I have a GTX 260, but my old Q6600 processor is holding me back from maxing out Fallout. Also, Fallout puts much more strain on a system than you might imagine, it's not quite as bad as Crysis though. Another thing might be drivers, they can mean the difference of 10 frames/second!
