LE Helping the Emperor

Good morning/evening to all.

First of all, please know that I am French and that I use a translator.

Secondly, I'm just sharing my idea. I'm not asking anyone to take it. I'm well aware that modders are already busy like that.

 

Well, several days ago I had an idea about the Emperor of Tamriel in Skyrim.

We have many mods to become high king (Vendeaume, BHKOS), mods to replace choosing a new emperor (Outlaw & Revolutionary), mods to become him (Return to Helgen).

So why wouldn't there be a mod to help him simply against the Thalmor, the good old Titus Mede 2 finding himself helpless.

 

Now, here's how the mod would work, lore and gp.

Lore:

The Emperor is helpless and doesn't know what to do. The thalmor who invaded Cyrodiil and now Bordeciel, continues to attack the cult of Thalos to come to an end. Titus Mede 2 does not know what to do anymore. It is then that during his visit to Bordeciel, he hears about the dovakhiin who defeated Alduin and put an end to the civil war.

He sends a messenger to deliver a letter or to come and get us.

During the quests, we meet the emperor, who asks for our help.

Of course we accept.

The emperor offers to lend us his army to fight the Thalmor. And to help us, we also have to look for famous people still alive to help us.

He could also have political intrigues with traitors, infiltrated agents.

The battle would take place on several areas and maybe even on a part of Cyrodiil and elsewhere (either in game or off screen, explained by the npcs what).

At the end, the Emperor thanks us and recognizes us as heroes like Martin Septim recognized the Champion of Cyrodiil.

As a reward, he could have either a house, a rare weapon or armour, money or a title.

 

For gp and requirements.

As I said, it would be over several quests. There would be big battles like with the Second Great War mod.

In requirements:

-To have finished the main quest

-Ending the Civil War

-Not to have joined the Confrerie Noire/Arreter la Confrerie Noire.

And of course, not to have killed the emperor.

The emperor dies because of the Dark Brotherhood so you cannot resurrect him just for the sake of an idea mod.I think would require years and decades before a mod like what you describe to be possible and would be incompatible with "the brotherhood of old" quest mod.

I'm not saying to revive the Emperor at the end of the Black Confrerie.

It would rather be a mod that happens before having made the Confrerie, hence the "Not having made the Confrerie".

And for the Emperor, it could be recreated or modified so that it appears differently in Bordeciel.

And to use the mod, well you don't put La Confrerie des Anciens if you want to make this mod.

 

Besides, I find the Bethesda thing a bit silly. Because they make us kill the Emperor, and then Tamriel finds himself without an Emperor again.

So Bordeciel without his High King and Tamriel without an Emperor to guide him.
