Bartimaeus Mod

In fact, I'm just going to post my ideas for the mod here.

The Ring of Solomon

-A gold ring with a black gem in appearance, just like in the book.

-The wearer of the ring will have decreased stamina, stamina regen, health, health regen, magicka and magicka regen.

-Because of the pain the ring gives you, you can't sleep while you wear the ring.

-Once you wear the ring, you will be given a toggleable lesser power called "Turn Ring". Once you use this power, your stamina, health and magicka will be depleted slowly over time and Uraziel will materialize without any visual effects taking place in the summoning. To send Uraziel back into the ring, simply use the lesser power again.

-As Uraziel is summoned, the spell Fire Storm will activate without any visual effects, and also excluding the fire damage. Also, the master fear spell Hysteria will take place, without any visual effects (Though I think fear should be configurable)

-Uraziel will be a significantly taller mannequin with the visual effect of the Ebony Mail. (I need suggestions for Uraziel's body. A mannequin is simply too beefy)

-Once Uraziel is summoned, he will protect you from any kinds of attacks. When he is commanded to attack, he will attack hostile beings without taking on a fighting stance. He will simply cast immensely powerful spells while standing casually and still being able to spoken to (I have to find out if this is even possible). If it's possible, you will be able to issue commands by speaking to Uraziel. There should be lots and lots of commands, including the ones from the book and the ones I will come up with.

(A giant fiery portal opening up in the sky to unleash legions of powerful demons with so vast a number that they would block out the stars as they descend upon your cowering enemies to bring hell would be very nice indeed, except I think most computers would die a gruesome death at that point. Summoning a few very powerful demons at your command shouldn't be as hard though)

-I'm planning to take his voice from the audio book of 'The Ring of Solomon'.

So imagine this. You're out in the fields of Skyrim with 3 dragons and a small army of thalmor, forsworn or whatever coming at you. You have a dragon upgrade mod installed, and your difficulty is set to Legendary.

You know you can't win this fight. At least, not alone.

You see a glint of gold and black in the forefinger of your raised hand. You sigh and turn the ring. Then, there was a presence beside you.

The small army coming at you is knocked backwards. The dragons, however, are too strong to be knocked off. But they can't help but land for a second. The ones who recovered in the small army flees, begging for mercy. Others follows suit. The dragons recover as well. Two of them rise back into the air and the other one stays on the ground.

You are then attacked by a volley of fire, ice and teeth. All to no avail. You are protected by the great spirit of the ring.

You hear Uraziel's voice, "Your wish?" Amidst the fire, ice and teeth, you see the small army fleeing. You tell the great spirit to capture all people and creatures around you inside individual bottles. Uraziel speaks, "It is done." Then there is a bunch of clinks and you see a number of skooma bottles around you, each containing a soul from the small army.

But there is still the dragons to take care of. You command Uraziel to turn the greater creatures around you into a smaller version of themselves, and weakened. The great spirit speaks again, "It is done." All the fire, ice and teeth attacks are suddenly ceased, And you see three small dragons about the size of your foot crawling towards you in futile attempt to get rid of you. You squish each lizard to death with your bare fists.

You look around. Everything is sorted out. Then you become aware of the pain from summoning Uraziel. You turn the ring again, and Uraziel vanishes.

You resume your journey, munching on an apple. And all of this takes place in less than 15 seconds.

Other than the ring, here are a few other things from the Bartimaeus books that I wish to insert into Skyrim.

-The Amulet of Samarkand

-The Summoning Horn

-The Golem's Eye

-Gladstone's Staff

And as a nice addition,

-A spelltome for a spell that summons Bartimaeus himself.

-A spelltome for a spell that summons Faquarl.

-A spelltome for a spell that summons Jabor.

I think a Keeper from the Dawnguard DLC without the armor would nicely do for Uraziel's body and head. It's even already tall.

Replacing the sky with the Soul Cairn or Eclipse sky when Uraziel summons demons will be nice.
