Using mods in the editer.

So I'm using Ren's beauty pack and eshmes better bodies and I want to make something pretty simple. Just a house with a couple of npcs in it. Both mystic elves and dressed using some clothes from Eshmes BB.

Problem is that if I enable Eshmes at all I cannot save. The editor crashes. Is there any other way to assign items to the NPC's inventory? Or a way to stop it from crashing?

I'm pretty new to the scene so if there's stuff I should read please point me to it.

Thanks.

Generally, you cannot reference items in one mod within another. In this case, and if you have no plans in sharing this mod, (since you would have to have been using the mystic elves mod as the active file in order to be able to use that race on NPCs) your best bet would be to create new forms which link to the meshes in your data folder belonging to those items.

If you have a question, please start your own topic. This one is to answer vinniebloods question. By jumping into it, you are committing what is known as thread hijacking - trying to make someone else's thread work to answer your question as well. That causes confusion as the people who answer aren't sure which question they are answering.

This is not a warning, just information to help you get your question answered.
