ENB Trouble

I tried to install an ENB. It did not work.

 

I'm pretty sure I followed the instructions on that page precisely, but I CTD while on the main menu. It's not a "normal" CTD like when you have a mod activated the uses a master file that you don't have. The main menu actually loads for a second before crashing. The problem persists under any/all of these conditions:

1. All mods activated(not including the ones that shouldn't ever be activated under any circumstances)

2. All mods disabled except for update.esm and skyrim.esm

3. With all ENB-related files removed

4. With all ENB-related files present

5. With high algo boost enabled

6. With high algo boost uninstalled

7. with main menu randomizer installed

8. with main menu randomizer uninstalled(the .dll has been removed from the skse plugins folder and the mainmenuwallpapers folder has been moved out of skyrim\data, but the images show up for some reason regardless)

9. with RendererInfo.txt, Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini removed and regenerated

10. with the above 3 original files present

 

This covers everything I tried to do and I can't think of anything else. What follows is my BOSS log and my Skyrim folder. I'm not sure if either of these things will help, but I guess it couldn't hurt to include them. Keep in mind that all except two mods on the following log are inactive.

Well, I fixed the problem by deleting all of my mods and reinstalling Skyrim. It was high time for a clean slate anyway.

Still, if anyone has any insight into what went wrong, I'd be more than happy to know for next time. As far as I know, the game was working before I tried to install the ENB. But uninstalling the ENB did not work, and disabling all of my mods and texture packs did not work.
