Having Trouble Modding anything related to the gunners

Hello ladies and Gents.

pretty self explanatory title and im just stumped why i cant get any of my gunner mods to work. I've tried the mercenary pack,Galac Tac Redux, gunner outfits + leveled list yet none of them work or just CTD.
I don't recall modding them before

EDIT: forgot to clarify that weapons LL intergrate with the gunners just fine, its armor that seems to be incredibly iffy
