donews
Hello,I want to merge some little armors mods for making outfits for NPC creation. I will use TesVSnip to do that and I have no problem to build them in Creation kit. But I search a simple way to have a look these armors before to decide to join them in my mod. I use NifScope for meshes and IrfanView for textures, but it is not very practical. Is there a better way to have a complete look of each piece of these armor (form and color) ?For example could NifScope display colors of these files ? Deleted1308005User
Nifskope can view textures as well. (If you mean that the texture is directly on the armor, just like viewing it in-game)You need to add the texture paths to Nifskope to make it work.(Steam/Steamapps/common/skyrim/textures)

Deleted1308005User
Console command coc qasmoke will have ever item and armor in the game to view in gameI think he meant to view mod armors, which usually aren't added to Qasmoke. And in addition, view them outside of game. @DonewsYou might not see textures for couple of reasons:Wrong texture path. Usually modders have habit of setting texture paths to C:/Program files/Steam/steamapps/common etc.etc., so unless your game is installed there as well, you can't see the textures. Textures might be packed in .bsa I only point you towards:http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope/Change_texture That's something related, and from that wiki you'll find everything you need. It's too much work to explain all I know about textures, as I've learned everything myself from trial and error, so it's not too "professional" when I explain stuff. donews
I thank you for that link.I have adjusted the settings and it is working better. I have changed the background of the render window too. Some colours are well, some less, but my first needs are satisfied. I just want to have a look on these files before to pick them.
