Weapon problems in Gomorrah

So I went to talk to the prostitute in Gomorrah for the quest Bye Bye Love. When I went out of the casino, the weapons I surrendered weren't returned to me. Funnily enough, Boone still has his rifle. I can't load my saves. I never expected this to happen so I overwrote my save file just before talking to the prostitute.

Most of those were weapons from mods and I don't mind uninstalling then reinstalling them, but a few of the stuff I gave to the bouncer were from Underground Hideout and I have everything I ever looted in there, so I don't want to do that as much as possible.

Is there a physical storage in there where they keep the weapons I surrendered? I've tried the area behind the chips guy, it's not in there. I want those things back. Help!

Behind the cashier there should be 3 metal boxes where your items will be stored, if they are not in there then something has probably gone wrong and your weapons are probably lost forever :/ Suggest starting a new game then loading your save and going in and out of gommorah, doing a verify steam cache integrity and if all else fails using the player.additem command to get your things back.

That's the thing. I already said that I've checked out the safes and gun cabinets behind the cashier. None of the things I owned were there. I even used tcl to see if my stuff was hidden in chests where players wouldn't normally see them. Nothing.

I've been going in and out of Gomorrah all night. It does nothing. Verified just now, some files apparently didn't cgeck out right. I hope it fixes things.

I would have used the player.additem command if I knew the codes for the mod items I had with me.

This is something I've never heard of before, perhaps you were unlucky and the game just randomly didn't add the guns to the apprioate places/lists, which i have heard of. You should you CASM (save manager) to avoid such save overrides in future :).

If you want to find out the codes open up FNVedit, find your mods, select them and find the "weapon" category and it will give you the 8 digit formID so you can do just that. While your in FNVedit it would pay to have a look at Gomoorah's references just to check if a conflict or dirty edit isn't creating a glitch.

Ifyou are unsure how to do this I will give you a step by step guide. It isn't all that hard though, just open up FNVedit and see what you can find, you don't have to change anything but if you can confidently identify a problem then you should be OK. Otherwise just say the word :).

Wow, thanks a lot! FNVEdit also helped me identify .esps that weren't in order. Now I can retrieve my stuff. Good thing I didn't have a lot with me when I went in.

How do I identify problems with Gomorrah? I have absolutely no modding experience.

Well a few ways with FNVedit but playing the game you can identify the bug then look it up. You would find all references to Gomorrah under the worldspace category and/or cell category somewhere - that's a big block to look through lol, might be a bit scary but you could use the ID search up top of FNVedit's left pane. By the sound of it though, if you had mods in the wrong order you probably don't have to worry now.
