ElricOfGrans
I have noticed an oddity when I make new characters, but I do not know what causes it. Hopefully someone here can clarify :) When I make a female character, I get a face I am happy with and that face looks fine with vanilla hair. For some reason, however, if I use Apachii hair, the face seems masculine. No change in the face, but the more modern hairstyles make the same face look more masculine. What features make a face seem masculine/feminine? I know it when I see it, but I cannot define the differences.
KateTHeaToMiCuTeRuS
I am going to answer, roundness/ olive shape but it is not always the case. A long face with high cheek bones and a big mouth with long lips to balance the length of the skull is often regarded as very sexy too (think Julia Roberts in pretty woman) but psychological studies point to a round olive cheeky face and narrow jaw as the most popular attractive according to studies. - Suntanned skin- Narrower facial shape- Less fat- Fuller lips- Slightly bigger distance of eyes- Darker, narrower eye brows- More, longer and darker lashes- Higher cheek bones- Narrower nose- No eye rings- Thinner lids Exactly how I look :)(:
gearboxjoe
Sounds a bit biased if it's exactly how you look? I am going to answer, roundness/ olive shape but it is not always the case. AlduinWorldEater
It's mostly personal preference, but someone's hairstyle does influence how their face looks.

But meh, skin colour is completely irrelevant anyway.I disagree with narrower facial shape too. Needs to be roundish/ovalish and soft.Everything else is pretty standard but I'm not sure what you mean by thinner lids. I think mouth/nose distance should be shorter and eye size bigger if you want a more feminine face. Maybe a smaller chin, a slight tilting of the eyes and a taller forehead?
