FutureVisions
is it possible with the geck to make races with differing body mesh? simply put. yes. just select the npc you want to change. right click -->edit, change the editorID, then look for the box that's pointing to the .nif model-->edit in front of that box, select the mesh you want from a folder. Edit: nvm that comment i read "diferent" instead of "differing". Well for differing i'm not sure, but its possible that you'd need to create a new race, similar to the one you want to change, to be able to make it work. billypnats
Oh... Cus I always thought super mutants were actors instead of "super mutants", I went in the Race menu in the GECK and noticed that all races have the body mesh. So the new editor can make it possible for player-only mesh then? Like TES: CS could not?
FutureVisions
Actually i just checked this in the GECK. The same race will always use the same body mesh, you can only change each character/npc face inside each race. But It's possible to create a new race with a different body mesh. This work for npc's and characters. As for supermutants and others, they are Creatures and dont belong to any specific race. So its possible for you to make a supermutant with a differing body mesh to anyother. Like behemoths and regular supermutants have, even though they are (supposedly) of the "same race".
