Ok i tried opening the Nuka Cola bottle model cause i want to edit the texture so i can add new flavors to the game without just covering the textures up for the cola. Well i edit the texture path in NifScope and when i try to load in GECK it has errors and crashs out then i try to open with NifScope again it gives me errors and wont show the texture on the bottle. bleh the texture is the same as the original just edited same filetype and everything works when i over write the old file and load game but when i try to edit the model to use the texture renamed it wont work.

i think there's a problem with fallout reading .nif files saved in nifskope. Im not sure though, think i read something about a way around it somewhere. Anyway you can always change textures in the GECK itself.

i dont have the GECK loaded atm so i cant guide you through it right now. but basically, all objects have a box that shows the direction to the .nif file of that object. In front of that box, there's an "edit" button, click it and in the window that opens, you can add new textures to the object.

Anyway just to be perfectly clear. with this method you can only replace/remove textures like with nifskope. To make textures you need other program, like photoshop and a dds converter app.

yeah i got the dds plugin i have done a few texture edits that work fine and i tried messing with GECK it wont let me use the texture i made for it. i want to make it so there are more than one flavor of soad in the game a orange soda with dame effects of the Nuka-Cola but editing the Nif with NifSkope wont work and GECK wont let me ure the costume texture i made.
