Is this a NavMesh problem?

ok, what does this sound like......

Levelled mobs placed in a room adjacent to a second room, appear in the second room when the game is loaded, and not where i placed them in the editor. The second room has it's own mobs, and both rooms are in the same cell.

All the mobs from both rooms are standing grouped together (not where placed) and are running animations/sounds, but do not react to the players presence, even if attacked.

I'm gonna tighten up my navmesh in the two rooms, and check for seams in the architechture, but is this enough to solve the problem, or is something else at work here?

well, i fixed up my navmesh..no errors or anything, but on further testing, i don't think that was the real problem...

this actually only seems to happen when i reload the savegame multiple times without exiting the game entirely, I should test to see if i need to reload the entire game, or just that cell.....Also, the mobs actually DO react the the player and attack as normal, it just takes a little longer for it to happen.

I guess my real question is different then...

why do these savegames have bugged mobs, and how do i work around it or eliminate the problem?

is there a way to keep the game from saving inside this particular cell? Is that even practical? It's not that involved of an area that it would be such a bad thing to force the player to get thru it without dying or saving for any reason....hmm..that doesn't sound too practical at all...
