Doh, Newb question

Hey i'm new tot he whole mod thing on Fallout 3, and i've run into a wall :wallbash: . it seems when i want to activate a mod i need to change something in Fallout_defult.ini, when i go in to change it i find the text and change it but when i save it, it says that it can't locate or replace the file. Any suggestions?

Uh, if you're just trying to activate a mod, click 'Data Files' in the Fallout 3 launcher, and check the box beside the mod you want to activate. If this isn't what you meant, clear that up so I can help you more.

As to why it won't save I don't really know (although if you're using Vista, try logging in as admin then change it), but I can tell you that you're changing the wrong file. It's Fallout.ini in the My Documents/My games/fallout 3 directory you want.
