Coolipy
First off, sorry if this is in the wrong place... So here's the issue, it waaaay too easy to level up my skills, like it's gotten to the point were it feels like I kill 5 enemies and I've leveled up! So I recently got a slower leveling mod. But I've got this one particular skill that's already too high, and needs to be taken down a peg or ten.I know of "player.setav XX YY", but "player.advskill XX -YY" isn't working, and I'm using a huge number like 99999999, but still no budge, don't I need to have my overall level lowered and the skill EXP reset aswell, else the leveling gets funked up?I'm trying to lower the skill. Is there any other way, or am I just doing it wrong? Edited February 18, 2013 by Coolipy
Miles Tails Prower
That's because player.advskill increases XP, not the skill. You can't remove levels using it, in the same way you can't remove levels for going ot jail.. Just accumulated EXP, which is all advskill does.. If you add enough EXP with advskil it'll advance the skills level. Incspcs advances a skill by one, but it can't reduce levels either No, the only way is by using setav. Coolipy
Oh, I thought adding a minus would help... the console's got no problem with it.But thanks for the reply, wouldn't simply lowering my level with setav damage my leveling up?
