Unable to upgrade NMM

Hey guys every time i start up Nexus i get asked if i want to upgrade it i click yes, but it tells me that my computer needs Windows Service pack 3, i looked it up and there is nothing by that name. In fact it doesn't exist, so i can't upgrade Nexus at all. Can some one please help me out?

It will depend on which version of windows you use if there is a SP3 or not

As far as I remember, only WinXP has a SP3

 

Are you sure it's not asking for .net framework updates?
