PuddinPandaLover
I need a chargenmorphcfg.xml for all the models of Fereldans models. I've been editing mine for a couple of days and now when I get to a certain part of Character Create, it crashes. I don't know where the error is and I really want to use that mod. I play on a mac and have no way of running .exe files. I have tried wine and crossover and I am not allowed to get bootcamp. http://dragonage.nex...s.com/mods/3295 The thing about Fereldan Models is that it requires a bunch of mods to let it work right. Thandal
Whenever a mod makes changes to the cgmc.xml, I always rely on TerraEx's "CharGenMorph Compliler".It has saved me a huge number of hours of tedious editing (not to mention the hours of pure frustration when I can't figure out what I did wrong! ;D )
PuddinPandaLover
But how can I work it on a mac? It's a exe file.
Thandal
Yeah, running Windows programs on a Mac does present challenges, doesn't it? ;DSorry I missed that detail when reading your post. This was the second time I read your query, since you also posted it in someone else's topic in the DA2 forums, (which puzzled me...) As I noted there, you also asked it in the right place, which is the mod's own "Official Comment Thread". Let's hope some other user of the mod can help. Otherwise, I guess you're stuck having to edit the cgmc.xml by-hand then. The process is straight forward, it's just an .xml file, after all. But it is tedious to get everything exactly right. So when you say you've "spent days" doing so and are still having problems, there's not much anyone can do for you without seeing the exact edits you've made (please don't post the file or listing here!) mochie
I should just mention that as long as you have the mods installed, they should still show up properly on my presets when you enter the character creator. However if you don't have the mods actually listed in your chargen file, as soon as you try to move one of the sliders, the mod (hair or whatever) will disappear.
