Dragonborn - CTD when enemies go hostile

Have been experiencing a strange bug with Dragonborn. Have been playing the DLC for some time now with no problems, and have been playing on Solstheim for a fair number of hours. Returned to Skyrim to complete a few quests while waiting for Ralis's final letter in the Kolbjorn Barrow quest. Everything plays normally; cleared a few areas, looted a few dungeons that had respawned since going to Solstheim, etc. Got the letter from a Courier, decided to loot one last area for reasons that are not important - Pinewatch. Trouble starts here. Hit first bandit with DoT spell, CTD as soon as he draws his weapon. Try again, same thing. Instakill him with a sneak attack and think nothing more of it.

Bug continues - CTD every time an enemy in this area goes hostile. Cleared the whole area with Invisibility and sneak attacks to avoid dealing with it while doing some troubleshooting. The only thing in my load order that has any impact on this is Dragonborn.esm. Finished the area and went outside. Same problem occurs with Mudcrabs - CTD as soon as they see me (give or take a second or two - interestingly, sometimes they get an attack off before the crash). Same result - deactivate Dragonborn and the Unofficial Patch (this alone does not effect anything, only take it off because it is the only mod on my list that requires Dragonborn.esm) and suddenly everything is fine.

I've been playing with Dragonborn for a few days now, logged a reasonable number of hours. This is the first time on the mainland and I have not returned to Solstheim yet to confirm the bug there, but I played a solid hour on the mainland today before I started experiencing CTDs (only difference I can think of is that I was in the area around Markarth before, and Pinewatch is in Falkreath's region). Can anyone offer any insight into this?

Load order is as follows (shouldn't be important, though):

Something I can't explain - when I use NMM to export current load order to clipboard, it does this every time (despite having run BOSS and restarted NMM) - places Dragonborn.esm and the Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp at the bottom of the list. This is not, to my knowledge, their actual location on the load order. They are 04 (5) and 0B (12) respectively. I suspect this is nothing, but would be intrigued to hear any thoughts on this.

Thank you in advance.

EDIT: Possibly even more bizarrely, it appears to only occur in this area - Whiterun, Markarth, etc. are all fine.

Another issue also arose - happened to be in the area I needed to continue the main quest, and I get a (probably entirely unrelated - haven't tested this one thoroughly yet) CTD whenever Delphine moves to equip her armor and leave the Sleeping Giant Inn for the Kynesgrove mound after the player's first interaction with her.

SOLVED.

Should've solved this sooner if not for my own inattentiveness. More thorough troubleshooting (after realizing that a lot of my initial impressions were wildly incorrect; for example, the whole of Falkreath hold was not affected, only some regions - both interior and exterior - and the area around Ivarstead was also affected) suggests that it was caused by some conflict between the Wyrmstooth quest mod and the Dragonborn DLC - disabling either corrected the issue. With Wyrmstooth gone, the issue is solved.

First, go back to a save game prior to the deactivation of Dragonborn. It is not advisable to 'uninstall' script intensive 'mods', it will do more harm to your save game than help. The disabled plugins go to the bottom of the load order because they are disabled. NMM is just funny this way. The BOSS log will show their correct loading position and whether they are 'active' or not.

Post your BOSS log (with the messages), including a list of plugins not recognized by BOSS if one is generated. Enclose them in spoiler tags like you did with load order.

- have you made modifications to the game ini files?

- system specs?

- are you using any texture/mesh replacers?

- have you uninstalled any mods prior to experiencing the issue?

The issue is, as far as I am concerned, solved; I've deactivated the plugin (Wyrmstooth, not Dragonborn - part of the original issue is my purpose replaying Skyrim was to play Dragonborn and would not deactivate it), and having solved the issue on my free day spent longer playing than I care to lose by reverting to an old save for extra safety's sake.

And I had thought that the load order I exported from NMM had been while Dragonborn and its Unofficial Patch were still active - it must not have been. That makes a lot more sense.

BOSS log is pretty standard. Everything is cleared up to my satisfaction, but if you're curious (it may be worth understanding the conflict between Wyrmstooth and Dragonborn) I will still post it. Same goes for complete system specs (laptop, and it's an old machine - Skyrim capable but it isn't pretty on paper (actual gameplay is fine though FPS isn't always perfect)). I have made no modifications to the .ini files that I can recall. No texture/mesh replacers, and I do not believe that I had uninstalled any mods - certainly not immediately prior to the issue, and if memory serves, not at all.

Thank you for your help, and I'd be happy to satisfy your curiosity with further information, but after disabling Wyrmstooth, the issues have resolved themselves and no others have arisen in their place.
