Mods to get? (Having to clean-install Skyrim)

Hello everyone.

 

After having not played Skyrim for a long while, i decided that i'd get back into playing it.. and maybe actually finishing the main story-line for a change. (yea right =P i'll get side-tracked on side-quests or just dungeon crawling).

 

Anyway... i tried installing a few mods that a friend gave me links to... and while the game runs fine 'if' i use a saved character that came with one of the mods.. if i try to create a new one.. the game instantly crashes with no errors, the instant i try to create a 'female' of any race other than the Kajhi (if i spelled their name right XD).

 

So... after getting frustrated.. im deciding to do a clean-full, fresh install (going to uninstall it from steam, then go threw and remove all of the folders manually from both the steam-app folder + the 'my games' folder.

 

Now.. on to my question... XD

 

Here's the mods im interested in installing:

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18110 "TES IV Oblivion Hair" (one of the packs, as im assuming adding more than 1 might be whats causing me to crasy now.)

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13722 "The Eyes of Beauty"

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27361 "Underground Bathhouse" (Because.. we all need that little sanctuary =) ).

 

And finally.... i was thinking of installing:

 

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12951 "Enhanced Character Edit" (this... looks interesting.. but between it and me possibly installing to many hair files.. it might be part of my current problem)

 

 

So... anyone out there with a good history of modding Skyrim think the above combination would work?... if not.. or if there's issues i need to make sure i avoid.. any tips?

 

I basically wanna make my 'own' character look better than the 'squared-faced' NPC/Player's that came with Skyrim by Default... + have some decent looking companions (the reason for the Girls of Skyrim mod, Its also the mod that made me want to modify my own player character as well as i liked the Saved-Game characters you can use from that mod, but i'd also like to make my own character (that looks as good) )

 

So.. as i said... tomorrow after work, im going to do a 100% clean install.

 

Any tips on the above? and getting it to work?

I picked up Dawnguard and Dragonborn (they will also be re-installed) if it makes a difference with Mods.

I am not sure exactly how much help I can be here...as a female playing a male Dovahkin, I don't really give too much of a damn about how pretty my NPC females are.... :P ...though I do personally have them all set with the CBBE body and face re-placer.

 

I do know though that you will be absolutely fine combining 'Girls of Skyrim', 'UNP Female Body', 'Eyes of Beauty', One Hair Pack and the 'Underground Bathhouse' all working together....As for the face replacer, it looks fairly involved...thus could be an issue, I don't know....I would personally go with one of the Face suggestions given in the UNP post myself just to be entirely safe.
